Annual Duck Race:   
Duck Race will take place on Sunday 2nd November at 12 noon from Cafferty’s Well at Moygownagh Church, weather permitting. Ducks will cost €5 each and will be on sale up until the race time.  Race cards will be available shortly in Mitchells and ducks can also be purchased from club members. €300 in Prize Money !!!! We look forward to a great day’s racing and thank you for your continued support.

Cross Country:
Congratulations to all the participants in the recent North Mayo Cross Country finals which was held in Belleek last Thursday 25th Sept.  Carn N.S. will now be represented at the Mayo Finals this Thursday 2nd October, which are also being held in Belleek.  Best of luck to all the participants.

Carn N. S. Annual Card Game will take place mid November in Moygownagh Community Centre.  Once again your support will be greatly appreciated.  Tickets for card game will be available from all parents.  More details to follow.

5K Run or Walk in aid of Moygownagh Community Games on Sunday 12th October @ 4pm, starting from Community Centre.  This is a necessary fundraiser to continue promoting Community Games.  The overall investment of time, energy etc., into our local organisation has paid huge dividends with our athletes and performers competing in the highest level at National Finals this year.  All help and support on the day would be greatly appreciated.  Refreshments served after. Registration @ 3pm, Adults:€5 , Family: €10. Contact Karen for more details.

Underage training: 
U6, 8, 10 & 12 training in Moygownagh this Friday 5th Oct @ 6pm . Gum shields required. 

Best wishes are extended to the new Mayo Senior Management of Pat Holmes and Noel Connelly.  Also best wishes to Micheál Collins from lacken former Moygownagh Manager who takes on a Selector role with Pat & Noel.

Fundraising Tea/Coffee Day being held by Yvonne Craven, in aid of Oncology Research, Castlebar hospital, Inis Aoibhinn House, Galway Cancer Care on this Sat 4th October from 10am to 4pm in the Presbyterian Church Hall, Wall St., Ballina (opposite old garda barrack).  All very welcome for a cupa and delicious home baking.  Please support this very worthy cause.

Karate classes in Moygownagh Community Centre on Tuesday nights.  Beginners: 6.15 to 7pm.
